Kingsize International – Vol 01 No 01 (1976)
The very first issue of Kingsize International launched in 1976, marking the UK debut of this bold bust-themed magazine. Originally an American publication, it quickly became a standout in the “big boobs” genre, bringing voluptuous Californian models and daring pictorials to international readers. With its mix of articles, fiction, and explicit photo features, this debut issue set the tone for what would become a long-running series.
Editor Tom Murphy introduced the magazine with an editorial aimed directly at British readers, promising authentic imagery without trick photography, and assuring fans that the stunning models featured were the real deal. Printed in the UK under licence by Lashgrade Ltd and distributed by David Gold and Son, this premiere edition established Kingsize International as a staple of 1970s adult publishing.
